Message from Rhonda…
The concept of Delicious Alignment first began as an idea for a spiritual weight loss book. I wanted to interview 50 women who had lost over 25 pounds, kept if off for over a year, and attributed their weight loss success to a spiritual insight, awakening or mindset change.
I wound up interviewing over 25 women so far and this process provided me with tremendous self-enlightenment. I learned so much. However, the actual writing of the book wasn’t exactly flowing. And then something shifted, and out of that shift, everything changed.
I experienced my own Ah-ha about the subject. I realized that the work I wanted to do had evolved. The focus wasn’t about spiritual weight loss so much as it was more specifically about self-love. As a result of this journey I’ve been on, I experienced a giant leap in my own self-love. And as a result of that growth spurt, I saw that it really was the self-love that was the prize, more so than the actual weight loss. The weight loss was “the icing on the cake,” so to speak. Though I still wanted the healthier body (I’ve lost over 25 pounds so far and went down two sizes), I saw that the first step toward manifesting this healthier body is loving and accepting the body I’m in right now. As long as I wasn’t loving and accepting my current self and size, I couldn’t move forward.
That’s when Delicious Alignment was born. Loving and accepting yourself where you are now is the first step to manifesting more health and fitness in your life. Without accepting where you are now, you’re stuck in this endless love-hate relationship with your body and food.
So exactly how do you go about loving and accepting yourself and your body now?
That’s basically the question we’ll be exploring at Delicious Alignment and in the upcoming book I’m writing, Delicious Alignment: How 25 Women (Including Me) Lost Weight Using the Teachings of Abraham-Hicks and The Law of Attraction.
