Ramona Galey Podcast Episode 005: How Your Beliefs Impact Your Body and Life

I loved this conversation with Ramona Galey, especially since she’s one of the 25 women I interviewed for my book, Delicious Alignment: How 25 Women Learned to Love and Transform Their Bodies Using Abraham-Hicks and the Law of Attraction. It’s been two years since I interviewed her so I was so excited to catch up. There’s lots of deliciousness in this interview, including how Ramona released 50 pounds using the Law of Attraction. We also discussed how alignment is the key, listening to our inner guidance and having FUN.

Takeaways from this episode:

  1. Attracting more health and fitness into your life from a spiritual point of view is not about picking this particular diet, eating that particular food or abstaining from certain foods. It’s about following your inner guidance regarding food and everything else, working with your beliefs and learning how to love your body in the now. If that guidance takes you to a certain way of eating, go for it.
  2. We can make any changes we want in our lives by becoming the change. However, sometimes it’s easier to find a tool. Certain ways of eating or certain diets can be tools, but when you’re out of alignment with the tool, or if you’re out of alignment with a subject, it doesn’t matter what the tool is. It doesn’t matter where the tool comes from, what it’s called, how much it costs or who recommended it. What matters is your guidance, alignment and resonance with that tool. And yes, a certain food plan or exercise program can be a tool, just like meditation or anything else.
  3. What do you do when you lose weight in order to attract your perfect partner and your perfect partner doesn’t appear? You realize that things happen in divine timing. The how and the when are not your business. Your business is to practice alignment. How long it takes you to attract the things you’re focusing on right now becomes less important when you’re enjoying every single moment of the journey. Synchronicities are even more amazing when you let go of resistance, how it’s supposed to be or when “it’s” supposed to happen.
  4. When you notice you’re judging yourself, getting caught up in your monkey mind or having negative thoughts, do whatever it takes to feel the love of Source. Find a way to go within and feel this love by connecting to Source. The love of Source takes you directly into alignment, almost instantaneously. 
  5. When you find yourself attracting something you don’t want, keep turning your attention to what you do want. When you focus on the things that make you happy, the next logical step eventually becomes apparent to you.
